Our event went by so smoothly, we advertised this event on social media platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook etc. and had a wonderful time putting together the Clean the World Kits. My team members and I met at Sydney’s and Haley’s apartment on November 6th from 7:30-8:30 PM. Leah brought over the kit supplies and Layne started by taking a couple pictures of the supplies in order to make our website look its absolute best. We then set up the different materials such as the soap, socks, toothbrushes, etc. in an assembly line kind of manner and each member of the team grabbed a bag and went down the line placing each item one by one into the plastic bag. It worked out very well for each team member and we had so much fun doing it. After all of the bags were filled with one of each item, we then each took some time to write personalized notes for each of the bags with sayings such as “hope this helps” and “we hope this finds you well”. After all of the notes were completed we put one into each plastic bag and but all of the bags together back into our supply box. Although we did not need too many volunteers we did have friends help us with taking pictures during the event, which ended up letting all team members be involved in the packaging of each bag. The extra hands ended up helping out a lot. My team members and I made sure to take many pictures and all help with the event and I believe it was truly a success!
